Отель The Merchant House
In Temple Bar, close to the Button Factory venue, The Merchant House has spacious, luxurious suites that are minutes from restaurants, theatres, bars and historic landmarks.
The guest-house-style suites in Dublin's Old Quarter come with free internet access, chocolates and complimentary wine on arrival.
An all-day breakfast (from 08:00 to 20:00 is included) in the rate.
The Merchant House building was built in 1720, then restored in 2005. Each suite has a large, stylish bathroom and soundproofed windows.

(+) We loved our brief stay at The Merchant House and will return. So very comfortable, our suite was beautiful and the introduction by the staff was very personal and informative. The free in-house movies, wine and refreshments were a very nice idea. Great location for a City break and overall good value.
(-) No negative comments as it gives exactly what it says.

(+) The whole experience from the greeting to the fabulous breakfast at the local Cafe. Very comfortable stay, will be staying again.

(+) Its location is superb and despite being in the center of Temple Bar it is totally quiet, private and we felt very secure. Very pleasant staff, efficient and thoughtful, our suite was excellent, spacious and opulent. Very good value indeed. Nice in-house complementary treats also. We will be back.
(-) No lift, but when it was built there were none around then. Was not a problem !.

(+) The room was bright,spacious and had a good selection of refreshments.
(-) The key/code system was a problem...I Got locked in,between the glass
and front doors,with no staff to help.I Had to disturb another guest to
let me out.This also happened on our return...key stuck!!For a
'5*'hotel',we had no idea that breakfast would be in a cafe 2 streets
away!!....it was a lovely room,but not a 5*hotel.

(-) for such a stylish bathroom, the water pressure in the shower was very low, everyone loves a powerful shower.

(+) The rich furnishings of the Oscar wilde suite, its location and the fact that the windows had been soundproofed.
(-) A bath might have been a nice feature but it wouldn't have fit anywhere so no.

(+) Excellent location in Dublin City, Our Guest Suite was beautiful, very well appointed. Beautiful bathroom and shower . Very private accommodation , we were not disturbed. We had a request and it was attended to immediately. Nice touch with complimentary goodies in the suite. All day breakfast was excellent and a good idea as your not rushing to make a deadline. Overall very enjoyable and definately good value.

(+) Superbly central, close to all sorts of City entertainment. The Merchant House are luxury Guest Suites and very well appointed. We got upgraded to a beautiful spacious suite. The wine, biscuits & chocolates were a nice treat. The all-day breakfast was particularly good as we stayed in bed far longer. Certainly nice to stay in a lovingly restored early Georgian building. Staff were attentive when we contacted them also. Will be back !!
